After a two week break, Glee is back tomorrow night – and it’s Regionals time once again!
This week’s show promises to be pretty packed with LOTS going on! You’ve probably already heard about Kathy Griffin‘s appearance as a Tea Party candidate turned Glee judge – she’s certainly wound up the ultra-sensitive Sarah Palin (go Team Griffin!)
There’s also plenty of songs on the way. The Glee gang will be singing three tunes, while the Dalton Warblers get FOUR performances including Pink‘s anthemic ‘Raise Your Glass‘ and Maroon 5′s ‘Misery’.
But it’s the fact that the Glee club will be singing ORIGINAL songs this week that’s getting the most attention, especially since one of the tracks, ‘Loser Like Me’, was written by hit machine Max Martin (who produced pretty much all the best Britney material). Plus Mercedes gets a solo – ‘Hell To The No’ and ‘Get It Right’ is Rachel’s moment to shine.
Here’s a Sneak Peek at what’s in store… watch those original songs climb the Itunes chart on Tuesday night!
10 GREAT TV MOMENTS OF 2010
Dec 24th
It’s that time of the year again where we all start looking back at the last 12 months – and we’re no exception here at Remote Patrolled.
Next week I’ll present my Top 10 TV Shows of 2010 – but first here’s 10 Great TV Moments Of 2010. It was a hard list to narrow down and we had to leave a lot off the list (The View versus Sharron Angle, True Blood’s gay kiss). But I think what remains is a good mix of drama, tears and wow moments…
Here at Remote Patrolled we’re going to be taking a short break until Monday to enjoy the holidays – just like our sister sites Good Enough Mother and Angry Trainer Fitness. It really has been a very full on few months so we definitely need a little time away.
But don’t worry we’ll be back before you know it to bring you all the latest TV goodness.
As always, thanks for reading… and enjoy!
AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS: BEST (AND WORST) IN SHOW
Nov 22nd
I’m afraid I didn’t watch too much of last night’s American Music Awards – they’ve always seemed a rather meaningless awards show to me (like the Golden Globes are to the Oscars). But I always make a habit of skimming through the performances to say who delivered – and who fell really flat.
As usual last night was a very mixed bag and demonstrated that even though the likes of American Idol and the X Factor come in for a lot of criticism, compared to many of today’s ‘stars’ – at least their contestants can sing.
Best of the bunch for me was Pink, who proved herself once again with strong vocals and a performance filled with energy and fun. Of course it helps that new single ‘Raise Your Glass‘ is an anthemic singalong – and the perfect holiday tune. This performance wasn’t in the league of Pink’s iconic Glitter In The Air aerial gymnastics – but even so, Pink delivered…
